Hisa Ōta, the cinema, the japonism and Bulgaria in early XX century

The text presents a strole to the portrait of fascinated Kabuki actress Hisa Ōta, known by his artistic name Hanako. She has had inspired Europe, Russia and even … Bulgaria. Hanako impresses with his acting talent personalities such as Auguste Rodin, Gordon Craig, Eleonora Duse, Loy Fuller, Vsevolod Meyerhold, Yakov Protazanov, Constantin Stanislavski … Russian cinema scholars still searching for one of the early films of Yakov Protazanov with her participation – „The Love of the Japanese lady“, 1913. The artefact is especially important cause for the first time in Russian cinema participated a foreign actress.
